We wanted to let everyone know that Grassroots will be using the Lodge kitchen this week as they prepare for their annual community Thanksgiving meal. Because of this, we will not be serving lunch or dinner during the week.![]()

For those who may not know, Grassroots is a nonprofit organization that partners with the SLO Elks each year to prepare and serve a free Thanksgiving meal to anyone in the community who would like one. We’re proud to support their efforts and grateful for the good they do.![]()

Prime Rib is officially SOLD OUT — we are no longer taking orders. Thank you all for the overwhelming response! We’re thrilled at the support and hope to offer it again next month around Christmas time. Stay tuned for details!
I have a problem to report with our latest fundraiser. Apparently this area loves bbq chicken because we have sold more than I could have imagined. It was keeping me up at night thinking how I was going to bbq all of this food because it surpassed anything I could handle in a timely matter and still produce a quality product with my pit at home. So after a few days of trying to figure it out on my own. I prayed about it and guess what. Problem solved. God always comes through. Cheryl Nuno and the San Luis Obispo Elks #322 stepped in and went absolutely above and beyond to make sure this all goes the way we envisioned it going. I am truly blessed and humbled by all of this. Thank you to everyone supporting. I love this community.
